Some amount of blood loss is normal during the birthing process. The average blood loss during vaginal birth is a little more than that during a C-section delivery. However, in rare cases, excessive flow of blood could lead to hemorrhage, which requires immediate medical attention.

Urinary tract infections, commonly known as UTIs, are caused by bacteria, virus or fungi. Women are prone to UTIs because they have shorrter urethra’s than men,which makes it easier for the bacteria to travel to the bladder. Bacteria can easily enter during sexual intercourse or while using common washrooms. Low frequency of urination due to low water intake can also cause these infections.
